The British Museum app is a free audio tour of the world’s biggest museum. Enjoy the app and explore the diverse collection of over 2.5 million years of history from five themed tours, including Top Ten, Ancient Egypt, Natural History, and Design.
In addition, the British Museum offers a variety of commentaries by museum experts, curators and authors, which are available to listen to in the app. These audio commentaries provide you with new insights into the Museum’s collections and help you to better understand the stories behind the objects you see.
The app allows you to choose one of the five tours or explore the collection in your own way by choosing your favourite topics. Each tour is themed and includes an introduction, object description, and audio commentary.
